    On March 20, 2025, I placed an order online for a customized scroll. While placing the order, I entered a date required as March 31, 2025. I was contacted back, via email, by ***** **** confirming my order and some additional options. We exchanged emails a couple more times to solidify the customization. On March 27th, 2025, I sent an email requesting an update on my order as it was about to be the weekend. I received back a tracking number stating that the **** was in possession of my order as of March 26th, 2025. On March 31st, 2025, I had not received my order. I checked my mailbox every day and asked the front office of my apartment complex to verify if the package had been delivered to the wrong apartment. On April 6th, 2025, I still had not received my order. I emailed the company again asking for them to verify everything and if there was a possibility of processing a refund since I had not received my order. My emails have since gone unanswered.

    Miss *****:  This is *** at Scrolls.  I just received an email from the BBB that a complaint was placed against our business by you and they now were giving me a chance to respond to it. I  I also have the **** printout as to where and when your package ran through the **** system.  We did mail your package on Wednesday, March 26 at 10:48 a.m., at this time we no longer had any control over the shipment of your package, it was totally up to, and in the hands of, the ****.  It arrived in ************ on the 27th and shipped to ******* where it arrived on Saturday, the 29that the Jacksonville Distribution center.  From the tracking info, it appears it took from March 29 to April 4th to get to **************,******* post office and it was then delivered to a parcel locker on the 4th at 10:42 am.  I cant see how you can hold us responsible for the actions of the **** on this late delivery of your package.  The obvious delay in getting your package from ************ to ********** is the real issue here. As stated before, we have no control over the **** delivery system.  As to your unanswered email, we were one of 6 counties in ******** hit with a vicious, windy ice storm starting on Saturday the 29th with a complete loss of all power for ******* people in our 6 county area..  Our town started to regain power on the 2nd,our business did not fully power up until the April 9th .   Given all of this, we will still refund your order to you if you send your Scroll back to us in the condition you received it.  

    Update ...My wife was able to make contact with you by phone/e-mail and discussed the situation with you.  Thank you for your e-mail saying you are not holding us responsible for this situation, and that the post office would not give you a refund..  You asked us for an additional Scroll to be sent to you and we asked for a different address for mailing.  This additional Scroll would be sold to you at a discounted price.  This was on April 24th and we have not heard from you since.

    I lost nearly $300 to this business. Their customer service is uncaring and self-absorbed. I ordered 4 large scrolls to celebrate my father's 75 birthday and when the package was not delivered to my father, this company did not bother to find out why this expensive order was not delivered and further intended for me to pay postage to have the order returned to me, instead of the intended recipient. If you want good customer service and reliable delivery, please go elsewhere so you don't lose hundreds of dollars like me. Not a trustworthy business.
