I hired Servpro to complete a personal property inventory for my insurance through State Farm. The list I was given was incomplete and we were not informed when MMR was to be used for mold remediation and my children and I were forced to sleep in it. I still have not received my insurance reimbursement, my kids and I lost EVERYTHING including the home. We are now all living separately and Im homeless.

    Business Response

    Date: 05/04/2023

The personal property inventory was completed and emailed to customer on 3 different occasions. We are happy to send that again if she is needing.  As far as the list being incomplete, customer would need to talk to project manager to discuss, and he has called to review information a couple of times already.

The MMR product that was applied in the basement of the home is only recommended to be out of after the first hour or two of application. Project manager reassured customer on 4/19/23 when she emailed ** that it was fine for the family to be in the home on the upper level during the time of application and were fine to be in lower level after an hour of the application of the product.

Our office reached out to the customer's insurance adjuster this week to find out if there was anything that we could do to expedite help with the reimbursement process. We were informed that the customer has been asked to put an age and replacement price to each of the items on the non-salvageable inventory list, and then he would release payment for reimbursement of items.  There is nothing that Servpro can do to help with this process.

I am truly sorry to hear about the family's living situation, however, there is nothing more that Servpro can do to help with the insurance process. There is also nothing that Servpro can do to help with living accommodations.

As far as this complaint against Servpro, there is nothing more that we can help with. Our part of her loss process is complete.
