On Nov 2, 2023 Seaford Concrete poured concrete around our existing in-ground swimming pool. When we first contracted with them, roughly 2 weeks prior, we were assured they knew what they were doing and were even at that time finishing up the owner's pool. They spoke to the pool man who had laid new plumbing regarding lines, where to set the slide and ladder ahead of time. So, Nov 2nd comes, they lay the concrete, I noticed they were driving a skidsteer over where the plumbing was running. My husband brought this to their attention and he was told it would not damage anything because the lines were deep. So we paid the owner the $7600 balance due. ($7500 down at hiring). On Nov 11, I get a notice of lien placement from the concrete supplier, stating they had not been paid. I told them we paid ******* and ************ Concrete of ******* said we owed them, and they were aware of ****************** doing this to other people. We gave ****************** three opportunities to either pay ********** or bring us the money back and we'll pay him. ****************** never showed up. Upon opening the pool, now we find multiple breaks in the plumbing lines, causing us not to be able to use it, and causing very costly repairs. The companies we have contacted for repairs find the concrete to be almost 10 inches thick, costing more labor to remove. We can only assume ****************** never intended to pay for the concrete in the first place, or perhaps ************ was in on it. We were told by ****************** the concrete would be roughly 4 inches deep. So, here we are 1 week into June and my pool is unusable. This gentleman (I use the term loosely), is unethical, immoral, a liar and cheat. I truly hope this complaint is posted as a warning to others. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY

My Mother and I found *******'s Concrete Construction Services LLC to pour a concrete slab for a building we are having. The owner and a couple of workers came out and poured a 30x35 foot slab and was supposed to come back and cut the slab. The owner of ******* finished the pouring on April 4th. He then stated that he would be coming back to cut the slab with a saw to keep cracks from happening across and to pick up his equipment, then to clean off slab. He came back on the following Saturday on April 6th. He picked up his equipment and left. The slabs edges are not right and are causing the top layers to crack There is a form left on the front with over pour that is ruining the front and causing layers to fall off. He as well did NOT cut the slab as we requested. My Mother and I have both been calling and trying to get ahold of *******'s and to no prevail. We feel like we both have be lied to and stolen from. We want him to come back and fix these issues, give us our money back, or at least give us the money back on the cost of travel fuel time and labor. This is unacceptable behavior for a company to do this and not back up what was stated. The owner stated that he would come back for any and all issues and he is refusing to take our calls. Please help us figure this out. I can't seem to get any picture or documents to load on my computer, so if you could please allow me to send everything you need through email please. Just let me know who to send it to. Thank you much and hope to hear from you soon.
