  The quality of the windows was terrible. The seam welds are inconsistent and look terrible. Caulking was terrible and was spread across the vinyl frame and on woodwork. They were out several times to correct only to make the problem worse. They ultimately decided to install all new windows, windowsills and trim. Same problems exit. Turns out, they didn't replace all the windows, ***** and trim but attempted to correct the issues, unsuccessfully. Window welds are terrible, caulking on woodwork that I now have to figure out how to remove and then repaint. When you close two of the windows, you have to lift them up to latch them. They damaged a window frame during install and left it for us to discover. They sent a supervisor out, the same person who previously decided to replace everything, took five weeks to get a response. Have left a message for the General Manager. Today, a representative contacted me to schedule a technician. He could not articulate what needed to be done but assured me it all could be corrected in a day. Ridiculous! We would like a full refund. We will then have a different company install windows and D&W can then pick up their windows. We have been inconvenienced enough!!

  Their windows are energy saving - that's why I chose them -- but the customer service leaves A LOT to be desired. I have a single hung window that is not working properly -- twice I have had need of a tech coming out -- it takes 2 to 3 WEEKS for them to get to me -- never mind that the window was stuck in the OPEN position and it was COLD weather. They had to remake the windows due to wrong measuring and even then the not ALL the windows were the proper fit. I had to make SEVERAL complaints to get anything done about it. I thought the price was right - but now I see the lack of quick service when issues arise *** not have been worth it. So sad for a MI company to be this way. 1 of the installers crushed a down spout by stepping directly on it - which I didn't see until the snow melted -- the spout is VISIBLE where it attaches to the house and where it ends -- simply not paying attention to what he was doing or didn't care.

  D&W installed my patio cover and it is absolutely perfect! We are able to get so much more use out of our patio and it looks beautiful too. The install crews were professional, courteous and knowledgeable. I couldnt be happier with the outcome!
