    On June 17, 2023 I purchased four tickets to attend the Salute to ******** Dinner and Fireworks show at Greenfield Village on July 2nd. Unfortunately, the show was cancelled due to storms in the area. I called Greenfield Village to see if I could just get a credit use for Holiday Nights, as we planned to purchase tickets to attend this event. I was told no, and they only could get me tickets to see the *** or credit towards membership renewal. As we do not want to see the *** and our membership is paid I declined. I was then told that they could not give me a credit as they had to pay the *** even though they did not perform. Why would they agree to pay a performer for not performing and then expect the customer to just eat the money. We've been member for years and cannot believe this has become an issue. Any assistance you could provide would be appreciated.

    Thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigated a weekend of challenging weather for this years Salute to ******* program.  We have made some updated policy changes regarding the July 2nd, Salute to ******* cancellation. Refunds will not be issued for any tickets or ticket packages purchased;however, substitutions are still possible, please see the list of options below: 

    Updated: Salute to ******* Cancellation Policy Rarely, a performance may be canceled due to severe weather and ground conditions (lightning, flooding, or other unsafe circumstances). In the case of a cancellation, exchanges will not be possible due to limited capacities for each performance. Refunds will not be issued, but you will be given a choice of the following items when you show a ticket for the canceled performance. Customers holding tickets may redeem them for one of the following options:
    OPTION 1: Salute to ******* ticket may be redeemed in person at the ************** on or after Tuesday, July 25, 2023, for one free ticket of equal or lesser value to select Classical, Family, Jazz,Neighborhood or Pops concerts taking place September 1, 2023 February 29,2024. All concerts are subject to availability, and seating is at the discretion of the **************. *** Presents, Galas and Home for the Holidays concerts are not eligible and other restrictions may apply. For questions,contact the *** at ************. 

    OPTION 2:Redeem original Salute to ******* ticket for daily combination experiences:Henry **** Museum of ******** Innovation/Greenfield Village. Present your ticket to any cashier upon entry. Restrictions may apply. Not valid for any special events requiring additional admission. Offer expires September 1st,2023.
    Option 3: The value of your purchased Salute to ******* tickets may be redeemed toward the value of a new or renewal membership at The Henry ****. May not be combined with other offers. Excludes fees paid as part of your ticket purchase. Offer expires December 15th, 2023.
    NEW: For our Buffet Guests you will receive $40 in Henry **** Fun Money for Adult/Senior Buffets & $5 for a child buffet to cover the difference in your food purchase, Fun Money may be picked up at the Henry **** Welcome Center starting on July 24th or mailed to you for $8.50.  To redeem this offer you must contact the Henry **** ************** at ************. Offer Expires:September 1st, 2023.
    Fun Money will be valid until Dec. 31st, 2023, and will be excepted at Plum Market, Lamys, Eagle Tavern, Taste of History and Henry **** Retail Stores.  Not redeemable for cash or the purchase of tickets/memberships.  No Cash Back.
