I took my vehicle to this company because I had a started that was failing. I felt the price that i was being told was high but i figured I would rather pay a higher price and ensure the work is quality than to go cheap and have other issues. When I picked my vehicle up I popped the hood and noticed that my pump fluid had been refilled above its actual limit. I knew this because I swapped a new battery out before I brought it to this company as I thought the failing starter was a battery issue. After I drove my vehicle home and let it sit over night the next day I noticed that the vehicle had a ton of green fluid that had come out. I called the mechanic and informed him and brought the vehicle back in. He assured my that there had been no work performed near anything related to the waterpump which is where the green fluid would be coming from. When I took my vehicle back home i let it sit again over night. When I came out to use my vehicle all of the fluid had drained from the vehicle. I contacted the shop again and an employee informed me to bring my vehicle in on monday and it would be looked at. Later i received a call from ******* stating that essentially once you take your vehicle away from my shop anything that happens is not a problem of mine if it cant be proven that i touched it . There is a direct correlation of the vehicle not having a water pump related issue to leaving my vehicle in their shop and it literally losing all of the coolent within 2 days. This is not right. Additionally, it was agreed that the price of fixing the alternator would be between 400 and 500 dollars and at the point of pick up it was almost 550 just poor business practice.

This customer brought their vehicle in for a charging system problem. We inspected the vehicle found the alternator in need of replacement. After informing the customer of this issue we were given the go ahead on the repair. This repair does not involve or include any tampering or adjustment of the water pump.  It is also common practice at our shop to top off all fluids in vehicle before pick-up. The water pump is an internal part and the Alternator is an external part. After pick up a of the vehicle customer called a few days later and informed our shop of this leak. They were advised to bring the vehicle in. Upon inspection of vehicle with customer present, they were informed of this internal leak caused by the water pump. Customer stated we had "bumped" the water pump, which would be impossible due to water pump being an internal of the engine. Customer was informed of this leak and drove away with this knowledge. A few days pass and customer calls irate and with foul language stating the water pump had to be damaged by the alternator and informed us that they would be taking the vehicle to the dealer to prove the installation of the alternator had damaged the water pump.  Had this been caused by something we had done the problem would have been rectified. We stand behind our work 100%. We are not in the business for providing free work for customers who do not want to pay for it.
