    My mom, who is 80 almost 81 years old, has been getting spam calls from fraudulent companies for at least the last six months. Trying to get her to accept supposedly free mercandise that they will send her for free through the post office. For the past 2 weeks my sisters and I have been trying to get landline phone changes to help with the calls. Upon Calling American Broadband and Tellecommunications we were told that they are a third party provider and are unable to make any changes to the account. They told us that we had to call Frontier Internet because they handled the actual account and could make changes. Needless to say we called Frontier and after being on the phone for almost 2 hours, partially on hold about half that time, we found out that American Broadband certainly could and should be able to make the changes we need. Somebody is lying and giving us the runaround and it's appalling. No stars given because of the treatment we have received. I gave one star because apparently I have to give something.

    When we started with this company in 2008, they were fantastic. **************** was quick and courteous. I was nearly always able to speak with a live person, and if not, my messages were answered promptly. The last couple of years, costs have increased significantly (nearly $25/month increase since March of 2023). I was told that the rate increase is due to rates being increased for their company, which they have passed on to the customers. However, customer service has declined until it is almost nonexistent. The only way to get a human response seems to be through direct email (not the website contact form). Calling puts one on hold, only to reach an answering service at the end of the hold time. Calls are not returned. We depend on our landline, as cell service is minimal where we live, so I am actively looking for another phone company at this point.

    No one is answering phone I get put on hold and messaged that my wait time is about two minutes After about 10 minutes another message comes on and says the business hours and then disconnects.I have done this in their business hours, I have left my name and phone #No response!!

    Worse customer service EVER!! BEWARE of this company!! Ive been calling since July 25, 2023, get out on hold for 10 minutes and then sends you to an answering machine only to NEVER get a call back. *** sent death certificates to company trying to get account cancelled still no call back, at this point Im reaching out to an attorney! What ever you do DO NOT sign on with this horrible company! They are the WORST!

    Been complaining to them for several months about our phone going out, they would have it fixed and the next day it was down again. It got to the point to where i refused to pay the full price on the bill because we only had the service for 6 days out of the month so they turned it off and i am still refusing to pay it especially now that they added another month on it.

    ***************** is interupted any time it rain heavily and getting anyone to answer calls to report outages is almost impossible. Trying to get a work order thru the website doesn't appear to work either.
