    My family and I were rental tenants for over 3 years. Everything was great until January of this year, 2022. I requested a repair for an appliance that was listed as an amenity and general maintenance that hadnt been done in the time we lived in the unit. I had spoke to a man in the collections department in regards to falling behind a month on rent as well as my requests. He assured me he would get to the bottom of the repair and address the general maintenance request. He did not. In fact he filed papers to pay rent or quit even though I had paid the arrearages as soon as we hung up the phone since he told me hed get to the bottom of my unanswered requests. The staff in the office does not answer the office phone or their mobile phones when called or text. I cannot stress enough to RUN if you see a property listed with DET ***** Property Management. There are plenty of decent landlords willing to help and find a home that meets your needs.
