    I contracted with this company to remove two small trees and clear some limbs from around the power line service drop to my home. They came out gave me an estimate and we agreed on the price. **** at Brown **** Tree Service said they could come out and do it on such and such day (I do not remember the exact day). I told him I had to work and would t be home. He said thats fine, Ill text you pictures of the finished project and you can tell me where you left the check. We shook hands and it was set. The day of the work he sends me a text saying the job was completed, where is the check. I replied where are the photos? He said he had to leave before the job was completed but his crew assured him it was complete. I trusted that and told him where the check was. When I got home, I saw the job had not been completed as contracted. He apologized and said hed take care of it. After a few more exchanges over several weeks, he stopped responding and has never come back to finish the job, but he did cash the check. I still have the text conversation as proof.
