    I am receiving letters about an outstanding balance for services rendered to ********************************. These services occurred prior to an April 4, 2024, court hearing in which I was deemed the medical guardian only. During the time of services, her former POA (***************, *********************************************** ************* ) had access and full control of her bank accounts. I have not had this power in the past or currently. ************ failed to make the payments and sanctions have been filed against him in court and otherwise. If the company wishes to pursue action via creditors, this should be done to ************ and/or **** herself as she is her own person legally and has full financial control. These letters should not be coming to me and should not involve me in any way. I told the facility they should become her SSI payee in order to make sure they received payment, and they failed to fulfill this commonly practiced procedure in skilled nursing. Following through on this suggestion which I am aware of because I work in a skilled nursing facility, would have guaranteed their payment. The fault of this matter lies with the facility for not following common procedures and ************ for misappropriation of funds. I need to be removed from anything to do with this matter and not be contacted by the company again. They are currently expressing their likelihood of pursuing this as a legal matter with me when I have no legal connection to the issue at all. They have been informed of this multiple times.
