  ***** Bastian LLL hired to replace hot water heater and softener system. Total cost $6250.00 plus $1000.00 for bladder tank. $4700.00 paid 01/23/24. Start 01/23/24 remove old system. Someone else installed new vinyl floor 01/24/24. On 01/25/24 a flood occurred from water softener damaged new flooring. ***** notified, recommended uninstall the equipment, replace damaged vinyl floor with tile, repair wet/damaged drywall for $4400.00, we declined, he dropped price $2500.00 cash which was paid 02/05/24. Work to start 02/07/24 at 7am. He texted that morning price went back to what I originally. I dont play games, and no one pushes me around. I will expect payment of $1700.00. I am going to grout and then I will be back to do the install and will get completed. My jobs always do. Text from ***** 9:14 Getting water to grout. Then heading your way. I should be there in about 25. He arrived about 11 am said again "I dont play games; my jobs always get done. He grouted the tile and left at 11:30 am. Text from ***** 2:20 pm Loading up a few tools I will have to stop at *********** Text at 2:28 pm expect water not to be on until after 6:00 7:00. Next text 3:12 pm headed your way. He worked in the laundry room on the hot water heater and softener, or so we thought. Text at 5:20 pm Im about to head home. I turned on the kitchen faucet, no water. Husband and I asked why havent done any work. ***** began yelling at me. I felt threatened "I told you I dont play games. No one pushes me around. My jobs always get finished" I was crying and very upset. He demanded $4300.00 He went outside to his truck then came back inside the house demanding money. I begged him not to do this. I was afraid for our safety. We locked the doors and garage. I called 911. The Oakland County sheriffs arrived, took my statement. I was crying and very upset. Sheriff said "we know him, do not let him into our home, he returns to call 911 immediately. ***** Bastian abandoned our job paid $10,240.00.
