    A person stopped by and gave us an offer to pave our drive. We saw the trucks earlier in the day working west of us, so there wasnt an immediate red flag. The offer seemed good and so we did some investigating and the company website did not look suspicious. When they came to do the job the supervisor wasnt on site immediately, so no paperwork at that point. We had told,*** ******* (owner) that we would need a few days to transfer money to pay him. He said that was fine, no problem. When the job was finished, *** shows up, again, no paperwork, and asks for a post dated check. We refused and referred to our previous conversation. He got upset and wanted to know if we were calling him a gypsy. No we werent but told him we would not pay him unless we had an invoice/paperwork. He said he would have his secretary send one. He knows we will not pay without the proper paperwork. He also, started some work at a neighbors and she is not happy at all. Encouraged her to file a complaint as well.
