  READ THE FINE PRINT. all other savings accounts transfer money within a day, this place withdraws the money from your active account holds it for 5 days (they use your money, you get no interest) then electronically send to the receiver, understood this and set a withdarawl of **,***.** dollars a week before it was needed, received confirmation e-mail and on stated day money not sent, but had only been withdrawn from account the day I set up for the original transfer a week earlier, then received an email stating you funds are being transferred and 5 days LATER payee received the funds ???????Originally got MM saving account due to higher interest rate (not worth the aggravation in the end). account now closed and it took 5 transfers to do it, due to their "limit" (TOOK A FEW WEEKS TO GET ALL THE MONEY OUT)

  I closed an All In One loan with Northpointe Bank on October 12th of 2022 in *********. The process of getting the loan and closing was smooth as silk. The *** loan itself has been exactly what was promised even with the Feds raising rates. I am paying less interest than I was on my previous loan with a 2.5% rate due to how we set it up. Thank you Northpointe!

  Terrible bank do not use. They inaccurately reported my account as 180 days past due twice during the covid 19 mortgage deferment program that i was enrolled in with them and when i asked them to remove it off my credit report due to their error they flat out refused and were rude even though the information they were reporting was obviously wrong.

  The absolute worst mortgage bank. They have so many staff that do not know c*** and misguide you. You have to stay on them or the problem will not get solved. I've been with them since 2017. (Didn't find a good refinance option - tried twice. Now too late) They can't find your insurance information and charge you for their insurance - approx $600 extra a month. You have to send in copies; they loose it. By the time they get it correct, you've paid a few months of the extra amount. This time, I was to get a refund and they did another analysis for my escrow account (second time this year). What did they do - keep half of it and put it in my escrow account. If you don't have to have them as a lender, then don't. If you do, handle your problem with them by speaking with multiple people. This way, you can ascertain which answer is actually correct. The department you speak with doesn't matter. Inept staff in every department that I've spoken with.

  This ************ employees all have failed miserably on every level from customer service to professionalism. To start the loan My score was 700+ with income of 80K no late payments.Now they've pulled my credit 7 times (6 times without my authorization). I have only authorized 1 credit pull at the beginning of the loan. 6 pulls in April ALONE! Now my credit is in 670's. They failed to answer their phones, & emails leaving me in limbo for weeks at a time. My file has been in underwriting three times & once wasn't even submitted until weeks later. This whole experience has been a ridiculous circus of nonsense. Total nightmare & a bunch of unwanted aggravation. I was then told to pay off some debts in the amount of 30K plus in which I did & then they hit me with new conditions. It's now been ten months, & every time they'd send me a new list of conditions in which I have responded to in a timely fashion. *********************** and his team were great in the first few weeks. *** disappeared, not answering calls or texts, then had his staff call me. They were competently confused as to the structure of the loan etc. They didn't know if it was a refinance or a purchase. Tells me *** had little to no communication with his team. From day one he had my taxes, bank ****************** Months later he tells me I need to amend my taxes to show more income. Anyone in the mortgage business knows you check income docs F***T to see if someone qualifies. Not to tell them six months later. *** kept promising that we will close in weeks!! Then something else would come up. Now he told me we need my 2020 tax transcripts. AGAIN this should have been known & addressed months ago!!!! Not after all these months. My accountant filed my taxes March 2022 by mail & the *** states they have been backed up now July 2022. Again if it was addressed previously then I may have had a chance to do something about it. They are unprofessional, wasting my time, energy with no positive results.

  As many folks in my age group (62), I checked with BBB before doing business with Northpointe. Was somewhat nervous as there were several bad reviews but they only seemed to be from the mortgage business. I decided to give them a chance since I was looking for a money market account. I also heavily factored in the fact that they are BBB accredited. Sure glad I did! I have been with them for about 4 months and could not be more pleased. Have made several requests with customer service (******** L) and have received a prompt and helpful reply every time.
