    My experience with Grand Rapids Community College was absolutely horrible. The people don't return phone calls when assistance is needed, or by the time they do get back to you, you may have to re-register for classes all over again. I was supposed to start classes at the beginning of August 2024 which was the summer classes but because of their unorganized and unprofessional manor I had to re-register for the fall/winter semester. Plus After getting registered the first time and the college taking so long to assist me, I find out that financial aide would not pay for the program I was interested in attending and that I would have to pick up more classes which was not doable for me due to me being a full-time worker and the extra classes I would have to take had no on-line classes available. Therefore I would have to be a full-time student as well as a full-time worker. You would think that GRCC would have informed me of this from the start but I was not informed at all. Even though I made a complaint to the dean's office twice, the unprofessional and negligent tactics continued. I recently had a conversation with a co-worker about this experience of mine with the college and to my surprise they had the same or similar experience.
