      Make sure when you file a claim make sure it’s within 30 days of noticing the problem not 31 or 32 because you will be denied but they didn’t deny taking my money I will never buy a extended warranty from them again and will not recommend them to anyone. bottom line lesson learned. take the money you were going to spend on an extended warranty put is to the side and add to it every paycheck less headache.

      Dealing with Montage has been the worst experience of my life! My couch is not even a year old yet and I have had to make 2 claims for a broken frame. The first time they rigged it which it only lasted a few months before breaking again. I made the 2nd claim on 3/27/25 and it is just now getting finished as of today 7/7/25. When scheduling a tech to come out they give you zero options, they give you a day and time, and you take it or leave it. They do not care whatsoever on any missed work or pay that you may have because of a piece of furniture. 1st tech no called, no showed after my husband took the day off work. 2nd tech said it could not be fixed, literally laughing at the work that was done previously. Montage was still insisting that they find someone to fix it. By this time I'm so fed up and didn't even want this couch in my house any more. They send a 3rd tech out and he said he could fix it in my house. I said absolutely not, its a giant sectional, my house is small, you are not sawing and fixing a couch in my living room. And i'm not missing work AGAIN! It took my husband and the store manager months to get this figured out. They finally fixed the couch at the sore facility. I have never dealt with people so rude in my life. This company is a joke and I will never buy a thing that has their warranty through this company! Overall experience is 0 stars!!!!!

      If I could leave a minus star I would do so. They take your money for a warranty that is virtually impossible to use. Nothing is covered. I am going to try to find out who their CEO is so that I can complain to him/her about the horrific service they provide. DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR FAUX WARRANTY.

      The technician who came to fix my chairs told me it was my fault because they were against the wall. ONE was against the wall, and I am smart enough to know not to recline it while it is against the wall. It wasn't touching the wall, and I pull it out to recline. The tech rammed the chair against the wall over and over. Told me the mechanism was fine in both chairs. After he left, THE CHAIRS WERE WORSE THAN BEFORE HE CAME. He tightened 2 screws in each chair and left. I had to take off work for that. When I filed a complaint and asked that the same tech NOT come back to fix the chairs, they sent the same guy. This time he took 3 pictures, told me the mechanism was bad, and left. 2 days of me staying home from work and my chairs are worse than before. I wouldn't have this company come and sweep my walk out front. They don't listen, they certainly don't fix anything, and then they close your claim like everything is good. They should be investigated. I didn't pay them, because I have a service agreement, but I am sure someone is paying them for this lousy service. I have 2 worthless chairs and an even more worthless service agreement. Absolutely do NOT get a service agreement that involves this company coming to do the service.

      This has been the absolute worst experience Ive ever had with any company. I bought my couch on a military base when my husband was active duty and purchased a warranty through Montage. Biggest scam artists Ive ever encountered. My claim has been opened for over a year. My couch was ruined by the first tech that came to fix it. Wrong parts have been ordered 4 times and the colors dont even match. But they blame me for wear and tear when they said they dont have the correct parts to fix it due to the year I purchased my couch. I will be taking legal action against this company since theyve already threaten to cancel my claim unlawfully. I have relatives in the *** as well as local law enforcement and am preparing to see this joke of a company in court. Its a shame that this is how montage treats a military family. Shame on you montage. Do better.

      We appreciate Ms. ***** taking the time to express her concerns regarding a recent claim.  We are truly sorry her encounter with our service was not as expected.   We strive daily to improve our claim experience, and appreciate all feedback, good or bad. 

      We have spoken with Ms. Schwab at length regarding the reason for a slight difference in color and sheen.  When new material is provided to repair a covered issue, they are often slightly different from the original material, because it has not yet been exposed to the original material’s environment and level of use.  Any differences usually fade over the course of 3-4 months with regular use and will then match the original worn material that was not replaced. 

      We have confirmed through Ms. Schwab’s retailer and the manufacturer that she currently has in her possession the correct material for her model sofa, and both agree any difference in color is the result of old vs. new material.   If Ms. Schwab would like to have the sofa material installed, she must notify the service center within the next thirty (30) days, by July 22, 2025, and we will authorize the technician to return and complete the repair.  After the deadline stated, the claim will be closed as abandoned with no further outreach to Ms. Schwab.  If she has questions or would like to continue with service, she may submit a note in her claim through our online portal at www.furnitureclaim.com, send a text to 616-202-3504, email [email protected] or [email protected].  Thank you.
