    On November 26th of 2022, I went into Northwestern furnishings on *************************., to look at sofas and lamps. I purchased that day, a floor model sofa, as it would be a quick delivery(not a special order), and I also purchased a floor lamp, which I returned, as it didnt work properly. The couch was delivered on November 30th. I noted the couch wasnt wrapped, when it was taken off the truck. Afterwards, I noticed the sofa had a dark spot of discoloration on each armrest. When I looked with a magnifier, I could see the threads of those areas were broken. So about 5 days later I called and told someone at the store about the damage. A woman stated a man named ****, would come and look. On December 6th **** did come and look at the sofa. He then told me, the spots had always been there. I vehemently denied that. He also said it was an As Is sofa, which it most definitely is not. I told ****, I had the sofa tags. I brought them for him to see that nowhere, did it say as is on the sofa, nor was it ever mentioned by *****, who sold me the sofa. **** says theyll call and let me know their decision, but the call never came. So I called back, on December 12th. I talked to a woman named *****, who would not let me talk to any store owner. She insisted I tell her why, so I told her what happened. She said she knew nothing of it, would have to look into it, and would call me back that day. Again, no response was made to contact me. I even told *****, I would accept them ordering a new one, and then exchange it, but heard nothing. This is my third time shopping with this store. *** only had the best experiences in the past, and feel completely stunned at being ignored and lied to. **** even peeled the SOLD sticker up, in front of me, in the hopes, I guess, it would say as is behind it. No, just the $1900 price I paid, in good faith to a company, that no longer cares about me as a former customer. I feel very sad, my trust has been completely ruined by them all!

    we have taken sofa back refund given, come to find out we were calling her but she said she got a new phone number. we had no idea were calling old number. this should close complant
