    I purchased a heat pump and electric strip (installation) from GR Metro Heating and Cooling on 2/22/2024. The cost of the installation was $12,500 - "4 Star Heat Pump Package" plus $1,000 for a 10 year labor warranty, bringing the total to $13,500. I paid the company $9,750.00 and agreed to pay the remaining balance on or before 3/22/2024. The heating package installed was too small for the size of the unit (first floor of a commercial space) and did not adequately heat or cool. The owner, ***************************** informed me that he used the wrong dimension to calculate the size of the unit. He agreed to replace the unit with an 8 ton gas furnace. I have contacted the owner many times via email and text message, we have also had two in-person meetings. He has failed to install the unit and is no longer responding to my inquiries. I am asking for a full refund of $9,750.00 and removal of the heat pump and electric strip.

    GRmetro is willing to offer ******** a complete refund on the work we performed for her.  We have asked for a in person meeting to discuss the terms of the refund,-she has refused to meet with us and instead has resorted to threats of punitive action.  We are willing to work with her to resolve the issues she is experiencing.  We have never offered an 8 Ton unit for the space.

    I still have not received a refund or any further communication from GR Metro Heating and Cooling. The owner agreed to give me a refund (I previously submitted proof via a text message screenshot) but has failed to do so. I am looking for further action from the BBB.

    BBB spoke with **** at the company who stated they were able to meet with the consumer and reached an agreement.  The agreed upon refund will be sent by the end of the month (January 2025).

    GR Metro Heating and Cooling LLC refused to provide me with a refund. I sued the company in small claims on 1/14/025 in the 61st District Court (Case Number: 2024-SC-0000698). The judgement was found in my favor and GR Metro Heating and Cooling LLC have been ordered by the court to pay me my refund.
