      My Father in law is 94 years old and has been having a delivery problem with his Grand Rapids Press paper for the past 4 months, (maybe longer). I have called them several dozen times and have had no satisfaction. I lost my temper on the last call and now they are not answering my calls or hang up on me when they answer. My Father in law lives on ***********************************He has been a Grand Rapids customer for over 60 years. He has a ******************************************* paper box by his back door. He started getting the paper thrown in the drive way or sidewalk out front. Or they just do not deliver it at all. We have request the carrier talk to us and have also requested to talk to a Supervisor and have had no response. It seems like they don't care. I feel the Better Business Bureau is my last resort with this problem. It is looking like the ** Press is trying to get out of the home delivery business by providing poor service. The Grand Rapids Press is a terrible business who does not work with their customers. My Father in law does not use the internet so the press is a big loss to him. They don't really deserve a one rating but looks like I have to give them at least that.

      I just found that the Press is charging my elderly parent in a nursing home $500.00 annually for the 3 days a week delivery vs my neighbor who pays $200.00. The representative's only response was that each subscription cost is different - by overcharging $300.00?!?! How can the ** Press justify taking advantage of the elderly and stealing their limited funds. No offer of a price reduction or a refund, only cancellation.

      They renew without any heads up that a renewal coming. Good companies give me a heads up and make sure that my credit card info is current. They used a card I was cancelling. NEVER knew I my card had been charged until I received a statement with a late fee due ( result of their one sided renewal policy. )DO NOT TRUST the company. They would not refund me for the 350 days left on their auto renewal. SCAM and unethical

      Mlive charged my credit card $311 for a one-year 2 days per week delivery subscription renewal on 12-7-23.I immediately cancelled the subscription and asked them to refund the $311 charge.10 days later I haven't heard a word and the charge is still there on my credit card.If I can't get the credit card company to erase the charges I guess I'll have to file suit in small claims court in order to get my money back.If so I'm also going to ask the State ************************ if they will take a look at Mlive's crooked billing scams.

      We are so very disappointed in the delivery service, or lack there of, of the Sunday edition Grand Rapids Press. We have frequently not received our Press and most recently, two weeks in a row despite reporting the issue. We are told they are doing everything they can to deliver it but no results. ***** keeps going up and service keeps going down. We are told they will extend our subscription for missing issues but how do we know this happens. Would like to see a refund check in the mail for missing issues, that we could actually take to the bank.
