    Door to door sales guy on hover board would not tell me what he was selling when I opened the door and asked....he just went into his canned sales pitch....I asked several times and he kept at it....5 stars for tenacity. O stars for rudeness. Just bought a NO SOLICITING SIGN....if they or anyone ignores it, I will sue them for trespassing....

    The walk-up salesman told us we wouldn't have to treat our trees anymore and not have to spend money on sprays for our maple trees, etc. This was a total lie, as EcoShield only applies their product within 15 feet of our house, and the trees I asked about are between ****** feet away. Also, we are having many more ant issues and bugs in the house than ever before. I want to end the service, but I'm not willing to pay the $250 early termination fee on this 2-year contract, even though the salesman said we could end the service at any time (no mention of the charge to do so). I tried to get my neighbors to have this service, but I am now very glad they were apprehensive and decided to wait and see how we liked it. I can see why they are not accredited with the BBB, as it turns out to be a scam outfit. STAY AWAY!!!!!

    Our standard residential pest control service is focused on the home and immediate perimeter, typically treating up to 15 feet from the structure to target the areas where pest activity is most common. While some exterior landscaping may be impacted, large trees or areas far from the home are not included in routine treatments unless specifically arranged as part of a custom service plan.


    Regarding the agreement, we aim to ensure all terms including service frequency, duration, and cancellation policies are clearly communicated and confirmed in writing at the time of enrollment. We take any concerns about how the service was presented seriously, and wed like the opportunity to look into the details of your account to better understand what occurred and explore possible next steps.

    They trespassed on my posted no trespassing, no soliciting, property. The person I talked to on the phone, ***** T, was unapologetic and rude.. I will never use them.

    If I could rate them lower i WOULD! This company is a complete scam. I have read other complaints here and they are 100% correct! They con you into a contract. Do not sign anything! They will take your signature and add it t o whatever they see fit to make it look like you signed a contract. SCAMMERS! We did see a huge improvement on the pests and that is the only plus. However, we would not use them again due to being scammed! Sorry that is not the way to do business.

    They lure you in by telling you they service most of the homes in your neighborhood. " THEY DO NOT" The service they provide is QUICK & NON EFFECTIVE. If you want to stop the applications they inform you that you SIGNED a 4 application contact. Then they threatened to take you to court to fulfill your agreement at a cost of 250.00 """ DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING---

    I should have known better. I should have read the contract, because it did not sqaure with what the salesperson told me. I thought he sold me a treatment of the outside of my house for $150. He told me it was for 12 months, which I thought was, "If you see a bug, give us a call and we'll come out and re-treat the area." Nope. $150 for the first treatment, and then $189 for quarterly treatments (5 total), including treatments in late December and March. I live in Michigan. No bugs in winter, so treatments are a complete waste. I called to cancel the service, but they informed me the contract included a $250 cancellation fee. Really? $250 to do nothing? Sure I should have read the contract, but EcoShields business practices are unscrupulous. Don't trust them.

    Called to cancel after a year because the service was making no difference. I live in the ***** so I wasn't too surprised. I gave it the year that they said my contract was for, then called to cancel. Apparently the sales guy lied about length of contract, he said it was a year and turns out it was really two. I would NEVER sign a two year contract for this type of service knowing where I live and the challenges it presents. They would not listen to me when I called and kept trying to get me to not cancel. When I finally put my foot down, they said, "oh you have a 2 year contract anyway so you can't cancel." I was so mad I said I'd pay the $150 fee to get out of the contract and they STILL wouldn't do it. They lowered my contract to 18 months. I'm assuming they'll do this again in 6 months when I try to cancel again. TERRIBLE.

    They will try to get your wife named on account to coerce you when you cancel. Salesman quoted summer full of pest control, quarterly. Canceled service July 2nd 2024 after we had service over a year. Called and canceled again. Harassed on phone daily.
