    This company is refusing to remove my personal information from their database,accounts, files, etc. Such as my social security number, birthdate, address, phone numbers, and other personal information. I have requested such information be deleted or removed at the end of febuary 2024 since I DO NOT WORK FOR THEM. By law i have this right and by every commercial code, right down to the papers i signed that stated i have the right to ask that my personal info be removed i have the original papers in my possession. On january 8th i got a email which ive enclosed stating i do not have that right which is laughable. Not to mention a wavier of these rights was never signed. In the past other companies have no problem at all removing my personal information from their data base, especially when i do not work for them. Not sure what this companies issue is with removing it. I do not work for them, do not wish to work for them now or in the future and i have EVERY RIGHT to Request my information be deleted! Theres absolutely no reason or justification of why they need to keep it or think they have the right to keep it! I DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY AT ALL A complain with the attorney general in their state as well as mine has been filled today as well 1/8/2024. And any and all retaliation will be recorded and submitted to the appropriate government agencies

    Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this individuals concern.  Securitas Security Services USA, **** (SUSA) values and respects the privacy of its employees, job applicants, clients, vendors,and other consumers, and complies with all applicable privacy laws. Please be assured that SUSA does not sell or share any personal data collected through the job application process.  However, SUSA also must comply with all applicable federal, state and/or local laws that require employers and/or federal contractors to retain records of job applicants for a certain period of time.  Because of these legal requirements, it is the policy of SUSA to retain job applicant information for four (4) years from the date the position was filled or the date we received the information, whichever is longer. More information regarding the companys privacy policy can be found at: ***********************************************************************************************************;

    If you guys dont sell personal information whats the resistance of deleting someones personal information that doesnt and isnt going to work for u?? 

    i reserve the right to have my information deleted and removed! 

    i have made complaints with the attorney general in your state as well as my own. Im sure this company will be more than happy to accommodate my request!
