Everything was great ( tree removal- clean up) until he was dishonest at the end and did not remove the ground up stump that I had to pay an extra $100 for them to do. It was agreed in my quote that for him to do that it would require a trailer and buckets being loaded into it. We had an extensive conversation about how other companies would leave a large pile and try to convince you to simply spread it around. I told him I did not want that- I wanted it all removed and would pay the extra. The day they did the tree removal, swiftly and with care if my neighbors property, he said they would return another day to grind and pickup. My husband( who was NOT part of negotiations and is not much into landscaping ) made the check out ahead to hand him- I had to leave the day the came back to grind the stump- but felt confident they would do the job as well as the tree removal- and really dud not get into great detail with hubby about it. They did not even arrive with a trailer and took nothing away, according to hubby who was not aware of details we had arranged. He told my husband they were done, whats left could be spread around - (hubby figured that was ok and gave them the check, which he accepted. He knew it was made for $100 more than what he actually did and could have asked for a dif check. When I called him- he refused to answer and hid behind texts and called me. “Karen” for not being pleased. It took me over 4 hours to rake up the pile. Entirely filled a yard waste dumpster plus 6 bushels for me to find a place to dump before it looked acceptable. Also found large 8-10 inch chunks. So at the end of the day- his company did exactly what he assured me they would never do- AND cheated us out of an extra $100. My worst fears. So its small claims if we want our money back. Shame on me for not insisting the job be finished when i could be present and trusting his word. I do have the agreement in print- but what a hassle.

Day of service husband was happy to pay, and insisted that we where all done and did a great job. Our company takes no money down to try and minimize this situation. Customers only pay once theyre happy

I would not recommend this company. I contacted them to remove a tree on my property. **** (co-owner) visited my property on May 29 and sent me an estimate. I approved this estimate on June 15, and they scheduled our project for early July. They rescheduled twice and I was very understanding both times. The project was rescheduled for August 7 and **** even verified this with me a week prior. The day before (Aug. 6), he sent a text stating Good morning, just got a call from [power company] and they have to reschedule the powerlines coming down. Unfortunately, that will not work for us. We are booked solid for the season. So at this point, we are going to have to pass on the job. When I received this text, I called the power company myself in an effort to get back on the schedule so our project could still be completed. Their scheduler informed me that what **** had told me was not true. They did not call him to reschedule. **** called the power company and canceled the appointment. I then asked **** to please call me to discuss the situation over the phone. He texted me I will give you a call back as soon as possible. I actually came out to the property today and realized that the whole base of the tree is completely rotted am passing on the job altogether. He never called me back. If there was an issue with the tree that would have prevented him from taking the job, he should have communicated that with me on May 29 when he came to my property the first time. Instead he strung me along for over 2 months. I dont appreciate the dishonesty and lack of professionalism. I removed a section of my fence in preparation for this project and made accommodations for an alternate place for my family to stay while the power was shut off. What a waste of my time and money.
