I ordered different types of turkey jerky from Dublin Jerky on-line using my *********** Credit Card via paypal payment. I received the package and I opened the contents and transferred them into a container the same day I received it. I then refridgerated the contents immediately. After a few days, I opened the container to take out a few jerky to eat them and share with my friends as I was heading out to play pickleball. I found a white microbial growth over the top few and it was starting to spread out into the rest of them. I took a picture and discarded all of it as I did not want to take a risk with my health consuming it; not knowing what it was (bacterial/fungal growth). I emailed the customer service at ********************************************* and let them know the issue and requested a full refund.I have enclosed all the pertinent emails that were sent back and forth. I also reached out to *********** for resolution. Today, 11-07-'23, I received a communication letter from *********** telling me that the dispute is closed. I called customer service for a reason. The lady by name *** was super rude and took me in circles and finally told me that documentation was incomplete. Upon questioning, she stated that I did not attempt to return the contaminated items. I questioned her about how she would feel handling food items that are spoilt with some microbial growth if she was the **** handler. I also told her that I would never do that and risk other ************** by shipping this rotten/spoilt food item back. She asked me if I had picked it up from the merchant, I explained that I had it shipped from ********, so I would not ship the bad item back. Then, I also asked her if she asked the seller at Dublin Jerky as to why he did not attempt to ask for the rotten jerky to be shipped back to him instead of harrassing me the customer about it. I told her that it is a perishable item and it is perished for unclean process during manufacturing and unfortunately it was multiplying and visible afterwards. Please help me resolve this issue.
