    Becht Construction finished our basement and remodeled our bathroom. They did a fabulous job and we always receive compliments on them. Scott is great to work with and I plan on having him remodel our kitchen next year.

    Have hired Becht Construction for multiple projects, including full bathroom remodel, ceiling repair from water damage, and outdoor siding reconstruction. Scott and his team do beautiful work. He is easy to communicate with, was on time and on budget. Highly recommend for any project.

    The Becht Construction did a phenomenal job with remodeling our 1930 house in Union Pier. They did a complete remodel and transformed the house into a contemporary stylish home. Scott is a great communicator, very reliable, reasonable, and logical. I highly recommend the Becht Construction for any project from small to big.

    Very disappointed. We hired Scott for a significant rebuild and remodeling. What Scott lacked in knowledge of work progress and scheduling, he more than made up in excuses. Good first impressions didn’t last long at all, and poor professionalism took over. He was eventually dismissed from being our contractor. Don’t call Scott if you find issues either while he’s on one of his many Disney trips—he’ll send you to voicemail and promise to call you back.

    For starters is was not a significant job. When i met the ******** i had told them i was extremely busy and was very short handed. The demolition was done quickly and subfloors installed in bathrooms so the plumbers they hired could complete rough in. 


    My electricians roughed in electrical and was inspected and ready for drywall. Thats where things really slowed down. I was busy with other projects and could not find anyone for drywall installation. I also mentioned to the ***** that everyone was busy and was having difficulty getting anyone to do the work.


    I think this is the first renovation they ever went through and didn't understand the process. Its none of their business what i do with my personal life and I never did not call them back when they called. I am sure they watched the news about the labor shortage that has been going on. Actually i suggested to ***** to find another contractor as i could see this wasn't going to end well. 


    Finally the poor professionalism is a huge insult! I have been in business for 30 years and have been in construction for 46 years. I have been an Accredited Business with BBB for over 10 years. I am sorry this went the way it did, but the labor shortage is out of my hands.
