    In my opinion, Dialog Direct is not a reputable company. Wage theft is standard practice. Agents are required to work off the clock. They are not being paid for starting up computers, logging into various computer programs, servers and apps and software and reading their numerous e-mails from supervisors before being permitted to clock into work. Also, it was expected that agents worked through their lunches during high call volumes. However, during training when I had IT issues and IT was working with me to correct them, I returned to my meetings and my scheduled lunch time had already passed. Although I NEVER clocked out for lunch I was never paid for that time. Duty free lunch means that you are free of all work assignments.The letter I received from Dialog Direct indicates that I was being fully compensated for backpay owed from December 2020 through December 2022. However, I was not being fully compensated. I refused to accept the $90 dollar check. I was owed for travel expenses that included airfare so to accept the $90 was again wage theft. Dialog Direct later provided me a Confidentiality Settlement Agreement. If I would agree to certain stipulations which was nothing more than a gag order, only then would I receive my rightful back pay. Under the terms of the agreement, I would be prohibited from telling agents in similar circumstances anything and impeded from reporting the violations to other appropriate oversight authorities as well as forfeiting all future employment. I believe these stipulations are violations of law and retaliation for my reporting the Violations of FLSA. To date, because I didnt agree to sign the Confidentiality Settlement, I have not received the compensation for which I am rightfully entitled.
