      To Whom It May Concern,I am filing a complaint against Planet Fitness regarding unethical billing practices and unprofessional behavior by a staff member at their *********************************************** facility. Despite attempts to cancel my membership in accordance with the terms of the contract, I have been told that I cannot cancel due to overdue fees, even though the contract clearly states that memberships can be canceled anytime.I have tried to end my membership due to financial constraints, yet I am still being charged for a service I am not using. This practice of forcing members to remain in contracts under duress is unjust and burdensome.Additionally, I experienced harassment by a staff member who shouted at me the entire time I was exiting the facility, disturbing other gym members. This verbal confrontation included loud, inappropriate comments such as, have fun getting billed next month for a membership you dont use, which was unprofessional and distressing. This behavior seems to directly violate Planet Fitness anti-harassment policy and created a hostile environment for myself and others in the gym.I am requesting the immediate cancellation of my membership and the cessation of all future charges. I do not require an apology, but I do ask for a resolution that ensures the proper cancellation of my membership, in line with company policies.Thank you for your attention to this matter.Sincerely,****** ****

      I called to cancel my membership a week ago because I got my foot crushed at work by 1000 pounds of steel and I couldn't use the gym. I started my membership in May and haven't been to the gym 1 time. I called today and they said I have to physically come in to the gym and cancel or write a letter. I already explained to them I can't drive a vehicle so I can not come in. I shouldn't need to jump through hoops to cancel a membership I've never used especially after they told me it was cancelled. I am ready and willing to file with the court district and get ahold of all media to blow this up and make it a national thing because Planet Fitness has been doing this for years. If I can sign up online I should be able to cancel online or over the phone especially when there is an injury to the extent I have.

      someone opened up a planet fitness membership under my name in January of 2023, I have been charged $25 a month since then. I spoke with the manager at the **********, ******** loication and she was great, she stated she was only able to refund me $50. but I can show proof that I do not live in **********, **. I am a travel nurse, and I have been located in iron moutain, ******** which there is not a planet fitness located in that area, I have also been in ********, ********, as well as *********** **********. i did not realize I was being charged and I had a membership until I went toi sign ** in ********, **********. I have never signed up, and i would like a refund for the last year.
