    7/27/24 **** is supposed to cut down my tree and my neighbors tree. I gave him my $4,250 cash money before he started. He finished my neighbors tree but he didnt get to my trees. He gave my neighbor back the money but shorted the returned money by $1,100. I believe he used my money to pay the crane operator and workers out of my cash because he didnt have my neighbors money until he finished her job. I contacted him and he got very defensive then hung up and wont return my 3 calls I tried to reaching him in the past 2 days. Tried to work it out with him but he wont return my calls. I gave **** $4,250 and he gave my neighbors back $3,150. Would rather work it out with **** versus getting the BBB. Need your help. Thanks ***

    I returned the money the day of receipt.  I gave it to the neighbor as stated in compliant. I was contacted by customer 4 or 5 days later asking when i the was going to come down, I was in the process of lining up a crane. The new crane was going to be a lot higher than what I originally had quoted to the customer. Customer decided he would not use me and go a different route.

    On or around ***************************************** I was short on the refund by $1100. We discussed on the phone and couldn't come to a resolution. We both became disagreeable on what happened to the money. The neighbor didn't count the money in front of me when I handed it back. I felt that I returned the correct amount and had no further need to discuss with ***. Which is why I didn't return any further calls. 

    On 8/27/2024 I contacted *** (I had just return home from Vacation). I set up a time to meet with him to discuss further. We have resolved this complainant by refunding him the $1100. 

    I believe on my part this all started because I didn't count the money given to me at the start. Then the neighbor didn't count it either a pond return. 

    I hope this resolves the compliant. *** seemed satisfied.
