      We moved into our current home the 7th of July. There was a trash can here from the previous owner. I called modern waste/LRS and service had been canceled and the can was being scheduled for pickup. I have called almost every other day since then and the trash can full of trash is still here. It has been scheduled for pickup the 14th, 18th, 21st, 26th, and today the 2nd and it has not been picked up. I am unable to speak to a manager. I have left 4 voicemails for call back and have not recived a call back.I have called other trash services and was advised it is illegal for them to touch another company's trash can. Therefor, we have had trash sitting here in a trash can on our property for almost a month. This is also a serious health concern as there are bugs and we aren't aware of what is in the trash can. I am honestly unsure of what to do at this point.

      After calling Modern Waste Disposal for the third time yesterday, and telling them I was calling the BBB, they actually showed up today and picked up the bin.  This matter has NOW BEEN RESOLVED.  I credit the BBB mention to inspiring them to respond.  Their service was horrible and disrespectful.  I filed the complaint after looking at their social media and the number of complaints from customers for the same base issue.stomer service. Explained not wanting to have the bin sitting out when traveling. Told they shouldn't have given me the earlier dates and they will get here when they do. Again, poor customer service. Contemplating legal action for how long to leave the bin out before calling it abandoned. After looking at Modern Waste's ******** site and the multiple complaints, this seems to be common place for this company.

      We have lived at this address 32 years and have always had garbage pick up at our house. Since company has been sold they will no longer pick up at our house stating trucks can't get back roads, even though they are same trucks. Their website said for elder or hanicapped they do door service. My husband is 65 years old with 2 artificial knees and plates in one leg. I am ************************* back. Since we complained they have removed this line from web site. We have repeatedly asked to talk with a manager and left messages for same, with no resonse. Only response is from *******, the customer service rep., who states she is very sorry but higher *** state if you don't pull can to main road they will not pick up. It is approximately 1/4 mile we have to pull it. There are 3 other families back here in same situation. Insult to injury they raised the rates. There is no other home garbage service in this area. Thank you

      This road is a safety issue for our drivers and trucks. A supervisor has done a site check and has deemed this road a safety concern. All residents will be required to place the waste containers at the Main intersection, Outer dr/ Wildwood beach rd.

      Modern Waste informed us they bought out Titans Trash on 1/24/22. On 6/26/22 we paid $54.81 for service for 7/1/22-7/31/22 (included a $9.81 fuel surcharge for July). On 6/30/22 Modern Waste informed us that they were discontinuing service on 7/12/22. I called on 7/6/22 and they stated they will do a refund the last day of service. On 8/8/22 they said they would issue a refund. On 11/4/22 they said they can't figure out how to do a refund. They provided service 1 time in July after billing for 4 weeks of service and I had to call for final pick up of the dumpster.
