    I visited Fitness 19 with the intent to join the gym. Immediately thereafter I suffered a medical emergency which caused me to phone and write the business that I could not join the gym. By phone on 2 occasions and by 1 personal visit the business informed me that my application would be cancelled; but on Sept. 20, 2023 a charge of $39 for an annual membership was charged on my credit card. I want this amount immediately refunded.

    My husband and I were trying to get back to the gym, the location we had signed up ***********, ** closed and our memberships got transferred to ********, ** location. Mine canceled completely however my husband was still standing. The rep over the phone said i can join again 2 for the price of 1 and my husband had to cancel his membership to get the promotion. He invited for us to go to ********, he said promotion ended in a couple of days which would be end of December 2022. We went to ******** and what we were told was not what actually happened. The manager ***** who we spoke a young fellow he had no customer service skills, was rude and condescended made my husband and myself feel bad. We wanted to start exercising since he said there was nothing he could do for us, we left and went to another location. *************, what a difference we signed up there. However, manager there said my husband membership was going to be charged twice and we needed to talk to ******** manager to have one fee waived. Since he originally wasn't helpful I am asking to have my husband fee for ******* to be waived since February will be charged again. Fitness 19 has no headquarters no one to direct this type of complaints. Thank you.
