    2-27-2024my vehicle was brought to performance plus auto fabrication quote $****** get enigine running right headers speaker box in trunk build speaker counsole stereo equiptment and tv quote$ ****** add on was added ******** was paid have all reciepts if needed and quotes and invoices my quotes kept going up and i brought it to the attention of the owner bill id number ******* ********************* is owner and i dealt with **** the owner my quotes kept going and the employees at the business let me know that i am getting F over my vehicle was never brought into the shop or worked i was bill 1800 for taking the linar of a speaker but when speaking to the person that was suppose to do it i was told he never did it and when messing around with it it was on his own time i was billed and charged for a speaker box that i never recieved i also have name and number of person that was doing it out of ******* i was given back $500.00 with no repairs to my vehicle i was given auto equiptment back which i was told that i could not send back due to the fact the store dont return parts even though i didnt want those exact parts.my vehicle was returned august 2nd after a heated arguement of why the quotes and pricing keeps going up i went on to where performance plus get there parts and the person that looked could not find any quote i was giving and all the prices went up5x it was brought to the attention of the shop and the results was pricing went and a argument insued and i was told to come get my vehicle same day or ********* towing would come get it..i came to the auto shop with a peace officer and recieved all information in order to take performance plus auto and fabrication to court The things that they are doing is just wrong resoultion return money

    To whom it may concern,

    The client authorized initially $10,000 worth of work (see work order provided). Per company policy, we require 50% down payment before starting any services, and the client could not afford to provide all of that at once and need to make payments. Over the course of several months, the customer stopped into our business and made several payments to get to that 50% ***** which was $5,000 down. On 04/15/2024, the customer made a payment that brought his total to $5,931.00. On that same day, the customer decided that he wanted to add additional services to his current repairs. Rather than just doing a speaker box (which was the original work authorized), the customer decided that he wanted to add audio and tv's to his repairs as well. (See estimate #****.) After several days and weeks of discussion, the customer decided what he wanted, and we provided a quote of an additional $5,000, making his updated total authorized amount to be $15,000. On 04/29/2024, the client added a QA1 suspension kit to his current repairs, resulting in a new total of $19,846.01. Of that new total, the customer still needed to make payments to get to the 50% down. (The total owed for repairs to begin per company policy would amount to $10,000 down payment.) The customer continued to make small payments and we ordered the speaker equipment and QA1 suspension kit. On 07/18/2024, we advised the customer that we had fitted the stereo equipment, and are now awaiting for him to reach the 50% down mark so we can begin repairs. At this time the customer had only placed $7331.00 down on the repairs. On 07/26/2024 the customer declined all work and requested a refund. However, per company policy, we advised the customer that the electronics could not be returned or refunded as they have been open and purchased for over 90 days. We also advised the customer that the suspension components were not over 90 days, but they are subject to a 15% restocking fee. In doing so, on 07/26/2024, we gave the customer all of the audio equipment and revised invoice with the return of suspension equipment, leaving him with a refund of $581.55. (Mailed via certified refund check #****** - which was received on 08/08/2024. As per our company policy, we do not do returns or refunds on payment plans. All items on the work order were authorized with signatures and authorizations. However, for customer satisfaction, we tried to return as many items as we could, which we did so.

    Paid $7200 job to have coolant system repaired, including both heater cores, after a freezing event of pipes and system. All work was admittedly done by a 19 year old noncertified mechanic. Less than two weeks after paying for the job, I learned the system was still leaking (it likely was since the repair was finished). I returned in truck to get some eyeballs on the problem and 3 mechanics in the rear failed to even do so much as to put eyes on it, stating I need to leave it. The problem could have been something as small as a loose pipe clamp. Its beyond bad business to not work hard to rectify a problem that a customer paid $7k to have fixed. I seek to have my money returned for a repair that was not made. This is the first filing of many and will complete with legal paperwork being served by my attorneys.

    On November 15 ***** I took my car to Performance plus Auto&Fabrication to have my radiator looked at because it was leaking. They tell me it was my radiator. Then I get a call later that afternoon, stating that my fan is broken and it needed to be replaced but the part that they need it will not be in until tomorrow so they will need to keep my car overnight the following day around 3 oclock. Ill get a call saying that my car is ready for pick up shortly after paying them $807 Ill begin to notice things that was different about this vehicle my stereo was broken and inside was not the same ,color was off then I realize this definitely not my car I called the shop the next day and talked to two different people. **** and ****. Telling them that this is not my car that yall had my car mixed up . They insist that this is my car. I told them things are different in this vehicle and this is not my car I let them know that Im calling the police.

    To whom it may concern,

    After two weeks of the customer having the vehicle, we received a phone call with the customer stating that she did not believe that she had her vehicle. We advised the customer that we take all vehicles by the *** number, and that if she felt as though she had the wrong car that she needed to call the local authorities, and advised the customer to drop the vehicle off that she currently had. We also offered to show the customer all security footage we have during the time that her vehicle was in our possession. To this date, we still have yet to hear from any authorities in regards to this situation.
