    I ordered and had windows installed via window world *************. One of the windows will not close all the way, and therefore is unable to seal, unable to lock. I alerted WWWM Immediately it took them about six months to start A response. Since then, a technician has had two visits And there is still no repair. This window is in a childs room on the first floor. Its incredibly dangerous to have it unlocked. I have spoken with them many times and there are still no repair to this day. I spent $4000 on these windows. And they dont work and leave my house vulnerable and unsafe.

    According to our records the windows purchased from Window World were installed in your home on April 12th. We received a phone call on July 17th stating that one of the windows was having a locking issue. We promptly added all information to our service list. There is about a 4-6 week lead time for service appointments currently. The service appointment was scheduled and completed by one of our technicians on August 28th. It was determined at this appointment that new sashes for the window were needed to try and remedy the locking issues. These were placed on order. Parts have about a 2-4 week lead time and again service appointments 4-6. The next service appointment was October 12th. To both the customers' frustration and our own, the factory provided window sashes that did not line up to lock. After an attempt to reorder the parts again and another failed service call in November, we have contacted our factory representative to find a solution on how to remedy the situation for Ms. ********** We completely understand her frustration with our company on this matter as we are also frustrated with our vendor for not being able to provide us with a better solution for Ms. **********  
    While we wait on our factory representative to provide a solution, we will be providing Ms. ********* with a few alternative fixes for the meantime until a permanent solution is reached.
