      This is a complaint on how Astera Credit Union is treating my Elderly Father and me. Me and my Father had a discussion about investing his money in something else different than the bad advice Astera gave my Father a few years ago when he deposited an inheritance from his Mother and Father. Back in April 16th I had my name added to his account ( and a friend taken off his account ) so I could do all his bills and take control of his finances. I do have ***** of ******** of all his finances. But when we added my name I did not think I needed to give them the *** because my name was on his account giving me full access anyway. So I moved some money over ($70,000) from his account to mine (another one that is just in my name) to start the process of investing in another Credit Union with better advice. So shortly after I did that my Father went in to take out some cash and the Teller told him " you don't have ANY money " When in fact he had over $2000 in his savings and $4000 in his checking just none in his 1 money market he had. So they misled him right from there. He freaked out and wanted to talk to the branch Manager His name is ***************************** Manager of the Astera Credit Union at ****************************************************************************. about where all his money went. So I got a phone call and I told them what I did and was doing as my name is on the account too. I provided a *** on top of me already being named on his account. They are holding his money captive and we cant pay his bills per an investigation. It's been 7 weeks and nobody has called me or interviewed me or my Father. They have continuing to LIE to me and my Father as they think I am doing Elder abuse. Per my Father I have only his best interest in mind and nothing else. I Own my own home, I have a 750+ Credit rating, pay all my bills on time, I have worked for GM for 27 years, Team Leader for 17 years, I have nothing but concern and care for my Father. They are making my Father worry everyday over this. BAD BUSINESS!!!
