Flooding discovered at 11:30 at night, Maintenance refused to come at night/in rain, yelled until he made me cry, and never showed up. Heard from them finally the next morning. Black mold all over the tiles. Going to be days before anyone comes to fix it. Maintenance who is ON CALL should come. Also, promised a finished basement that was told to be livable but there is no window in basement.

    Customer Answer

    Date: 11/28/2022

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of why I am rejecting this response appear below:

    Good evening,

My name is **************************** and *************** to a response from the leasing off where I reside for Hunter Lansing Properties. After a few calls, the leasing manager did have 2 space heaters delivered to my residence. I was also told that the boiler in the building is now functioning and there is still no heat. I put my first request in on 9-28-2022 about not having heat and the request was closed as completed 2 days later. I submitted proof of that in my inital complaint. I also came home from visiting family for the holiday that my lease will not be renewed and without an explanation as to why. I called and am not getting an answer to get an explanation as I am unaware of what the issue could be. Thank you for getting a response for me so quickly! Have a great day!

    Regards,

    ***********************

I have been trying to get ahold of the property manager for Towne Square Apartments; ***********************. This is an ongoing issue that has been happening for weeks. Each time I try to meet with ***** or contact him, I am told by several leasing agents that they are informed to tell me, He is busy, despite being available. I have no other choice but to proceed with legal action considering I cannot get a response. I have tried over and over again so this does not have to be taken to court. I have asked several times for an email or phone number to contact corporate so we can resolve the issue together. I understand that one location is not reflective of your company, but you cannot violate a leasing agreement without contacting the tenant. All I am asking is that I have a meeting or phone call with corporate of Hunter Lansing Properties instead of my attorney.
