    On August 30, 2023, I purchased a book (Medical Terminology) for my daughter using my debit card. The company is called "Tree Of Life Books TORE") they are a Madonna University company running their bookstore. They charged me $60.41. My daughter informed me that all books are included in the Madonna University tuition. So why was there a charge for a book that was already paid for in the tuition? I contacted the bookstore and was told they refunded the money on August 31 which was the next day. Of course, I immediately checked and found them to be lying. There was/is no refund anywhere on that date or any current date on my bank statement. So these people are charging people for books already included in the tuition payment. So this is a double charge. Unknowing people are buying books and being charged the tuition too. Now they will not even talk to me about this problem. They are attempting to keep my money ($60.41)

    I filed bankruptcy, I forwarded the papers to the school, emailed and called for the past few weeks. I have received no call backs, emails or anything. I requested a copy of my transcripts, I got a message that they wont give to me until I paid off the balance - I was told by an attorney that that is illegal, that the balance was included in my bankruptcy and they have received numerous letters with my bankruptcy case cover sheet. I attempted to call again, and email and they do not answer or email back.
