On Sunday, August 18th, I took my daughter ************* to **********, **. for an 11;00 appointment with AA. Our instructor was *******************************, the owner. We arrived 20 minutes early, and waited as she was out with another customer. Once she arrived, she came over to our vehicle and stated, "i've gotta go potty" and left us sitting in the parking lot for another 15 minutes. My daughter's anxiety was increasing by this point. When ********* returned, they started the parking portion of the test. I was told that during a driving test, instructors aren't supposed to say anything to affect the results. ********* stood there, watching my daughter ****, saying to her, "Oooh, what are you doing?" in an extremely disheartening tone. My daughter was near tears. Finally, we got onto the road. ********************** directed ***** to turn left at the first light we came across. We had a blinking yellow turn light. My daughter yielded and saw oncoming traffic come to a complete stop. Their light had just turned red, and ours turned green right as my daughter went to make her turn. She was doing everything right. ********* looked up from her paperwork and grabbed the wheel, yelling "stop!" which shocked both me and my daughter, scaring us. ***** hadn't made any mistakes. ********* hadn't been paying attention before this, looking down at her clipboard the entire time,or she would've seen that all other traffic was not in motion. After that, she directed ***** to go back to the testing site stating the test ended because she had to "interfere" without giving us a plausible explanation as to why. We had just started. There was NO REASON for ********* to grab the wheel and stop the test. ***** was well prepared to get her license that day, and did NOT make any mistakes. There was no "teaching" no communication, just rudeness. As a widowed single mother, finances are challenging. We paid $100, were expected to show up on time, which we did. I expect the same in return for my $.
