    I spent last week vacationing in the *********** area with my family. My son has a Dune buggy and we have beed riding on the dunes for 25 years plus now.I recently purchased a 2018 GMC Acadia (first time on the dunes with this vehicle) that I made a custom flag mount off of the lower frame. The flag mount is 7 to 8 inches off the ground.My old flag is just under 9 foot tall so I was short to make the required 10 foot minimum to enter the dunes. Before leaving for our trip I called your store and confirmed the 96 (9 1/2 foot tall) flags and asked what bolt size for mounting (which I was told 1/2).Saturday afternoon after arriving to the *********** area (July 13th) I came to your store and purchased a blue 2 piece flag. I mounted it to the vehicle and the filling day I went into the *****. To my surprise the flag didnt touch the pole and I was given grief from the rangers. I was told to fix it for next time. During the week I was told this many times. On Thursday (July 18th) I stopped back in your store to inquire what the problem was with the flag height. The 2 young gentlemen at the counter retrieved a tape measure and tried to measure one of your flags against the wall. I say tried because he didnt know how to read or use the tape measure. He measured the flag ar 9 11. When I asked how that could be and not hit the Dune access pole he shrugged his shoulders. At this point I could see I wasnt getting anywhere and just left. When I returned home I decided to do some measuring of the flag I purchased and compare it to my old flag.Your flag (the one that I purchased and was advertised to measure 96 only measured under 9 2 1/2 (3.5 short) which explains my problem.I have to ask whats going on here? You make your own flags,, and advertise them as 9.5 feet, and I counted on that measurement to be compliant with the Dunes rules for flag height. I would think that you would be sure that they are at least 9.5 feet tall.

    I was sent a replacement lower section of the flag that was longer. This satires any issues I have with Duneland.
