On 1/13/2023 I had my work vehicle towed to Bill's Transmission & Complete Auto Care at 444 Detroit Avenue, Monroe, Michigan. They installed a 62TE Reman Transmission with new torque convertor, At filter kit, and new ATF+4 transmission fluid. They also did a TCM Quick Learn. 3 year 36,000 mile warranty on transmission unit. I received my vehicle back on 1/20/2023. The total paid was $4,000. I was out work for 1 week for this work to be done.

On 1/20/2023 - 1/21/2023, I drove from Michigan home to Georgia where the transmission stopped working on 1/21/2023. I had to leave the van on the side of the road. Bill Finstrom, the owner of , Bill's Transmission said he has nothing to do with it. He said it was with the company where he bought the transmission that was at fault. He said he was not responsible for getting my vehicle towed or repaired, to contact the transmission company.

    On 1/23/2023, I had the van towed to *** ************ **** ******** **** Savannah, GA *****.

On 2/17/2023 I got the van back from *** ************ and they had to put another Reman Transmission in again. I have the receipts from the tow $200 and *** ************ the total was $4,467.38.

I was out of work for 4 weeks due to the defective transmission sold/installed by Bill's Transmission and having to get the same work performed again that I just paid $4,000 for. The second transmission bill is $4,467.38, the tow bill is $200. Bill Finstrom told me to contact Trans Tech. I contacted Trans Tech and they only paid $2,140 of the $4,667.38 bill. I reached out to Bill's Transmission again on 2/16/2023 to inform him of the additional charges incurred due to the defective transmission that he sold/installed and he still says he has nothing to do with it. I have all the receipts and documents.

I did my part. The transmission went out after 1000 miles. I got the transmission from another company which came with a warranty. I called the warranty company for him and they reached out to him. He would need to contact the warranty company.

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: Bill's Transmission & Complete Auto Care's receipt has 3yr, 36,000 mile warranty. There is not a warranty company name on my receipt. The warranty company that he told me to contact, after the transmission failure, only paid $2,140 of the $4,667.38 balance. There is still a balance due of $2,527.28 that Bill's Transmission & Complete Auto Care is responsible for. On my receipt it is showing Bill's Transmission & Complete Auto Care is warranting the 3yr, 36,000 miles warranty. The receipt is attached.

    Sincerely,
