Our two teens signed up for driving school in June. We paid $400 per child. Classes were 4 days a week and held at an old tax firm. Upon walking into building it was dark, mold smelling with green fish tanks. The children were placed in a dark office in the back with a 20 something employee that was their instructor. At one point the printer they used was broken and our children had to write out 10 pages of notes. The workbook they were provided was laminated and old. They were not given the information to accurately pass the tests. One of our children failed the exam and she is a straight A student. She did retake and passed.
Upon doing the one on one driving, it has been a disaster. We have only gotten in 2 drives per child in the past 6 weeks. The instructor had hospitalization and apparently they have no one to cover. She communicates the drives with the teens via texting and is last minute. There is no schedule. When a parent calls up to office, there is not main schedule book. They do not know what the driver is doing so encourages us to contact her. I have contacted Ms ******, the instructor and she rarely texts and NEVER calls back. I have complained to the office secretary 3 times and she assured me she would let Mr. ******* know, but he has never called me to hear my concerns or complaints. My husband left a message today, but we decided we should escalate this. Apparently other parents have complained and went up to the school very upset and nothing happens to remedy this. Our children should have their temps by now and it is putting them behind.
Lastly, on the drives, there is no "instruction" on how to drive the vehicle. Ms ****** seems to only tell the kids what direction to go and criticize if they do something wrong. She also brings McDonalds and eats in the car while teens are on the drives.
Very unprofessional and frustrating for all involved.
