I did buy a shed online through Shed Liquidators using Affirm as a payment method. I changed my mind the same day of the purchased and decided to cancel. I called Shed Liquidators customer service about the update, the agent told me that the cancellation went through except, they didn't provide me any documentation of cancellation. The agent told me that the full refund money will be available into the Affirm account in 7 business day. I contacted Affirm after those days and nothing was refunded. I called shed liquidators customer service again and again without any solutions. Finally, ****** decided that i should start making payment of that loan. I would like someone to step in and help me with this issue. I do attached the purchase email with the amount that Affirm paid.Business Response

We bough a shed back at the beginning of October, our original installation was supposed to take place on Wednesday November 8th but got cancelled by the contractor and someone called us to reschedule for Friday, November 10. It is worth to mention that by the time they called, I had already scheduled a day off from work for this. Wasted PTO time. On Thursday, November 9th, we had the shed delivered to our driveway. We got a call to confirm installation and agreed with the installer on a window between 7 and 11 am the following day. On Friday, no one came or bothered to call. My wife, who had taken a day off from work for this, reached out to the local branch and explained how it was noon time no one had canceled or reached out yet. . The person on the phone was very dismissive and said that we dont even have to be home for the installation, which is not true. She also mentioned that the contractor might have canceled because of weather (again, not a call?). However, IT NEVER RAINED a single drop in my area that day. It was cloudy but didnt rain! As per website installation requirements, we must to have a person over the age of 18 in premises during install. I also have dogs and I dont feel comfortable having a complete stranger in my backyard without anyone responsible at home (home insurance liability?). An hour later I called the main number asking for an update. I was told the local branch would reach out. Three hours later I called them again. Same answer. Bottom line, I got no responses, no appointment cancellation, no call from anyone, and ended up with a unbuilt shed taking space on my driveway and two WASTED personal days from work. The worst part is how dismissive these people were, they acted as if our time off from work was not valuable. So we are requesting a full refund for this fiasco. We cannot afford to take off from work again for them not to show up. Im still waiting for a phone call back to schedule the removal of the unbuilt shed.Business Response

I am sorry to hear about your experience, we know that unexpected situations can be difficult to navigate and frustrating. We have already agreed to arrange a date for the customer to pick up their product so that they may receive a full refund, we cannot refund when they still have the product unfortunately. These terms were already agreed upon with the local installation office and will be fulfilled so the customer may receive their refund. We did advise this customer upon the order being created in our initial email from the branch that the dates are tentative, I have attached a copy of the email sent to the customer as well. I have also provided a screen shot of the distance from the local branch, the weather may have been fine where the customer is located however is an hour and a half distance from the local installation office so that could have been different as the distance is an hour and half away from the local office roughly. Again we are more than happy to work with this customer to get this returned and refunded.

March 29 I bought a shed for $2829.25. After rain delays installation occurred April 29, they showed up at 1930 stated it would take 2 hrs and couldn't finish roof due to police showing up at 2245 for making noise so late. The installer haphazardly put some plastic on roof and said someone would be here May 1 to finish. It rained all day Sunday. After seeing shed in daylight called first thing Monday morning and spoke to **** ****** about all the mistakes and problems with the shed, including pieces cut wrong so interior exposed, gaps, trim not matching up, excessive nailing, nails cracking the fascia, missing and bowed trim, raw edges showing, etc., he said depending on how bad it was they would either send someone to fix it or tear it down and put up a new one. I sent 17 pics that day. May 2 **** emailed he was working on confirming a date. I have had zero communication from **** since, no emails or calls answered. May 4 ***** a subcontractor called and said he had been hired to finish my shed, he made an appt for May 11, due to rain came May 12. He said he was only hired to finish roof but he said it was a waste since there was so much else wrong with it he felt they needed to tear it down and start over. He took pics and sent to **** ****** then called him and left with no work done. I called **** and asked him what the plan was. He asked for more pics, stated he felt it was all cosmetic and could be fixed, said they would fix it and paint it for free for my troubles. I sent additional photos that day. May 19 I emailed them asking for a full refund and to call and set up a time to remove the shed from my yard. I have had zero communication from them since May 12. It is recommended and some places void the warranty if not painted within 30 days and this shed has sat exposed to the elements since April 29 because it can't be painted until repairs are done. I have many more pictures of the poor work, it just wouldn't allow that many to be uploaded.Business Response

I do not see where you had requested to have this torn down for a refund, we can proceed with this process if you wish but I do not see a record of your request on our end. I would suggest giving us a call directly at ************ to discuss this option, anyone in our department can handle your inquiry and would be happy to get to work on this for you. Again I am sorry that your experience was not pleasant, but I am confident our customer service department can resolve this issue for you.

On May 15th, 2022 we purchased a back yard shed from Shed Liquidators. We were scheduled to have the shed built on-site on June 28th., however several weeks/days prior to the installation we received a call saying it would be installed on July 1st. The installers arrived late in the morning on that day and began installation. Around 5:00 PM one of the installers stated that the rafters in the kit were the wrong size and that he was unable to complete the build. Only the front half of the roof was on at this time. He was going to leave the back half uncovered and we gave him some tarps to staple over the open section to help with keeping any rain out. Because of a big build they had scheduled, they were unable to come back to finish the build until July, 21st or 22nd. We were on vacation and unable to be there when they returned. They came and finished the rebuild but did not fix the incorrect rafters but just added the roof sheathing and roofing. All this time the inside of the shed was being rained on heavily during rainstorms. The tarps managed to collect some of the water but not all of it. Also, the window in the front of the shed was put in off center. They said due to the inside 2X4 placement. However, what we bought and viewed showed the window in the center of the wall opposite the door. So now they had to notch out the trim as the shudder around the windows didn't fit where it was supposed to go. I have called customer service and the corporate office numerous times, each time being assured that someone would call and come out to inspect the shed. Once I even talked to someone, I think his name was Brian and he said he would be in the area in a couple of weeks. Still waiting for a call back that was guaranteed to happen two weeks ago. We want to paint the building but need to wait until they fix it. Also, we paid with a credit card and paid it off before we could file a claim to get some of our money back since we did not get what we ordered. HELP!!!!Business Response

I ordered a shed from shed liquidators on July 1st (order *****) in which it was installed on August 11th. We selected driftwood shingles. Upon installation, the builder just left without advising it was done. There were nails not even drilled Into the wood but sticking out that we had to fix. My main complaint is the shingles installed are brown- they are not the color they have reflected on their website. I called them and was advised after asking that driftwood is gray with speckles of brown but is overall darker like the gray. I was advised to email their local office with pictures and I did that last Wednesday with no response and so I called back today and the lady at the branch office said I will be contacted by the department manager within 48 hours. Within minutes I receive an email saying the shingles are Owens Corning Supreme driftwood and may not match our house unless we have those. My house has black and gray shingles, no brown at all. I’ve included the photo they have on their website as well as what was installed. Only one square of the entire roof looks like the driftwood displayed in their picture.Business Response

Business stated customer support contacted the consumer and had them forward photos of the shingles. The installation office then spoke with the consumer. It was confirmed that the correct shingles were ordered. She stated that it is a brown and grey mix and sometimes tend to look more brown.
