      I got a propane delivery on April 20, 2022, in the amount of $797.10 with a prompt payment discount of $30.67 if paid on or before April 28, 2022.I paid the invoice within 48 hours; taking the discount offer, paying $766.43 (confirmation #**********).On July 12, 2022 I received notice from Coyne Oil that I owed $30.67 for a discount that I was not entitled to. I was told that I couldnt have the early pay discount because I used my debit card to pay invoice #******, account #******.Apparently in late 2021, Coyne had made the decision to deny early payment incentives when a debit card is used. I WAS NEVER NOTIFIED OF SUCH CHANGE.Im now being turned over for collections for $30.67; a discount that I am entitled to.

      Thanks for taking the time to leave us feedback and were sorry that you are not fully satisfied with our service. We do our absolute best every single day to provide the best customer service in the industry, so we take complaints very seriously in hopes that we can make sure each customer is satisfied and so we can avoid repeating mistakes in the future. We looked into this once we saw your review and we feel like there have been some misunderstandings that we should clarify. It has been our policy for a long time to provide the discount for payments made via ACH transfer but not for credit or debit cards, so if youve made ACH payments in the past but switched to a debit card this year that would explain the difference. We will make a one time exception in your case and honor the discount. Our records show no signs that your account was ever turned over for collections. If you have any other questions or would like to discuss this further please call ************** and ask to speak with *******.
