    I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Detroit balloon bar. They not only failed to deliver on their promise but also showed a complete lack of professionalism and empathy.**In September, I booked them for balloon decor for my best friends baby shower. I confirmed all details, paid the required deposit on October 10, and expected a smooth, well-executed setup for the event. However, on the *morning of the baby shower*, I received an email (not even a phone call) saying they wouldnt be able to complete the setup. This email came at 9:33 AM for an event starting at noon, with set-up planned for 10 AM. When I reached out, I was told they couldnt call me because of bad reception abroad and was denied any option to pick up the balloons myself.I was assured my refund was processed, and that their team would follow up by the next week. Today, weeks later, I am still waiting for my refund and have received no follow-up from their team. This companys lack of professionalism and accountability is truly unacceptable. They left me scrambling on the day of a significant event, with no backup plan, no genuine apology, and no respect for the impact of their last-minute cancellation. I trusted Detroit balloon bar as a Black-owned business to help bring this special day to life, but this experience left me feeling disrespected and *************** others considering their services, please be cautious. The customer service I received was appalling, and I wouldnt want anyone else to experience the stress and frustration that I did.
