    The ** reservation was made on March 2, 2025. There is no indication on the reservation webpage that refunds will not be made for ** reservations. There is no opportunity for acknowledgement provided to the purchaser to review the reservation policies. The email descries a cancellation and refund process that limits refunds within seven days of the reservation date. On April 13, I emailed requesting a cancellation and refund - no response.May 19, I emailed again - no response. May 21, I called them directly asking for assistance to cancel my reservation. **** answered the phone and indicated that he will pull up my account and call me back in an hour. This does not happen. May 22, I call again, and **** answered the phone, but this time he says they offer no refunds but he will be nice and refund the money when someone else reserves the spot. I stated that the email does not indicate this, nor did the purchase process indicate that they don't issue refunds. I question where that policy is, he said go to the website, you reserve at your own risk.He also claimed that he did not respond to my emails as it was the off season. After much interruption and terrible customer service on his part, he tells me I am being difficult and that I shouldn't be because he is helping me out. He says he will call me in a few weeks. I say, "No, that's not good enough. You will be referred to the Better Business Bureau if we do not resolve this." He said I can call ***** ****** and hangs up on me.After finding the "policy" on the website, under the page "Rules and Regulations", I went through the reservation process again to see if they instruct the purchaser to refer to these "regulations" prior to reservation, ensuring full acknowledgement prior to reserving. There is no policy reference or acknowledgement during the booking process. I call back on May 21 to discuss this finding. A female answers the phone, I describe the issue and she hangs up on me.

    on sept. 27, 2024, i called silver sands to cancel a reservation for oct. 3rd. i was told by "****" that he didn't have authority to cancel and that the owner would call me the next day. never happened so i called them again. i got an asian sounding man claimed to be the owner and who became irate after i explained the reason for my call. he said that it was too late and that they have a 7 day cancellation policy. very "convenient" since yesterday was the last day to cancel. nowhere that i can find has any mention of a 7 day cancellation policy. i feel this business is engaged in very unscrupulous business practices.

    Contacted on 8/26/2023 I accidentally booked a room for the wrong date, noticed my mistake immediately, and spent all of Saturday calling the business to reschedule for the correct dates and they never answered their phone. I then emailed them stating my dilemma. I've yet to receive a reply. I called on Sunday and actually got through. I told the man about my problem and was told too bad, "good luck with that," and was promptly hung up on. There were no services rendered, and no attempt to fix the problem.I've contacted my bank to reverse the charges and they are investigating as well.
