    My experience with HQ Flooring started out very well. I walked into the business and was greeted promptly. I took some samples home to pick out new flooring for our bedroom. I called a couple days later to schedule a time for them to come out and measure the space. They texted me in advance to let me know they were on their way to the house. Upon arrival my 11 and 13 year old let them in the front door. They told them I would be out shortly. They proceeded to walk back to our bedroom and immediately opened the bathroom door where I was at changing. So quickly my kids didnt have time to process or respond to let them know I was in there. After they left I was in shock. I called them a week later to report the incident and asked them to report it to the manager/owner. They called back and gave no apology and blamed it on my kids for not alerting them. They also tried to say they thought it was the closet when the door opposite of our bathroom is the closet and the door was open with the light on. Im very disappointed in how they handled the situation both during and after the incident. I will not be using them for carpeting or recommending them to anyone for future business.

    We at HQ Flooring are very surprised at this review by Mrs. ***** There were (2) Estimators that texted her 25 minutes in advance to the arrival & she responded "OK." Upon arrival, the estimators were greeted at the door by two teenage girls. The girls were very welcoming and guided the estimators to both locations to be measured and were chatting about how the summers were going & making small talk. The girls never mentioned that their Mom would be with the estimators shortly. Upon measuring, one of the estimators opened a door that was beleived to be a closet. The door was cracked a few inches and the estimator was looking down at the floor and saw it was a tile floor and immediately shut the door, knowing it was not the closet. The girls were still with the estimators at this time and they said nothing about that being the bathroom. It was an honest mistake and not intentional. The first that HQ had heard about this being an issue was when Mrs ***** called almost two weeks after stating she had not received her estimate yet. The estimate was sent on July 26th to her, so we resent it to her. Mrs. Bolton called back HQ after receiving the estimate and explained her side of events that happened at the measure. An apology was most definately given to her, as well as an explanation that her daughters showed the areas to be measured. No blame was made toward the daughters. The estimators had no idea that Mrs. Bolton was home. Mrs. ***** replied that she felt a discount should be given. We take great pride in communicating and servicing our customers as if they were family. It is very disturbing to HQ that she feels this way. We apologize for any part that made Mrs Bolton feel uncomforatable as this was not intentional by any means.
