      My wife has tried to cancel her membership multiple times. We keep getting charged monthly. S and B has refunded some of the payments incurred after the cancellation. Now ****, the so called account manager wont refund after again being charged. This $59.99 for who knows what. They are unorganized crooks. Stay far away from this gym as you can.

      I signed a contract with Strength Beyond on 12/27/19. On 5-26-20 I submitted a written request to ********************** to cancel my membership at the earliest date possible. I received a response that I would have to complete the 36 month membership before cancellation. Payments continued to be taken from my bank account after January 2023. On 3/24/23 I submitted another written notification to ********************** (as stated in the contract) to cancel my membership. I didnt receive a response. In May I submitted another request via ********************** website (as listed in the contract). This time I received a response saying that cancellation had to be done by calling the local gym directly (************ has an address in ****.) I called Strength Beyond the next week but the person told me to call back the next week because there was no one in the office. When I called again the week of 6/24/23 I spoke to ***********************. He said that he would let me out of the contract for $100. I believe that I have more than fulfilled the requirements of the contract. On the other hand, **************** changed the terms of the contract without notifying me that membership cancellation was now being handled locally. I do not care to pay him any more money. I regret that I ever entered into the contract. I am getting multiple messages from ************ and Strength Beyond stating that I owe money and that this will go to collections if I dont pay.

       have reviewed Ms ******** account history. She attempted to cancel with the billing company on 3/24/23. She was advised to contact the club as we handle these in house for further customer convenience. However we will accept the 3/24 cancellation attempt valid. She made two payments after this on 4/20 and 5/20 fulfilling the 60 day notice. She also submitted with Peak on 6/2/23 which is the date I saw during my conversation with ******************, missing the previous correspondence on 3/24/23. Using the revised date the contract is fulfilled and I will remove the existing debt, close her account, and apologize for not seeing the cancel request  on the earlier date.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I would caution other consumers to avoid working with this business as the owner does not abide by the terms of the contract you sign.
