    We sent American Speed a certified check per their request for $25,000. Once they got the check all communication stop.They will not answer my emails or calls. My dad is 79 yrs old and I now feel like this company is a scam.

    I contracted with ******************* of American Speed, *************************************************, ******** **. in November , 2021 to build and deliver a Speed 33 body and other related items. I was told via email that the delivery window was 12 weeks. During the course of 2022, ************* gave me repeated excuses as to why the car was not being delivered. In addition he would not return phone calls, texts or emails. I made several trips to ******* in ***************************************************************************************** returning my calls. After several more trips to ******* in 2023, the body was FINALLY delivered to ******** in November 2023. It is missing the fabric top, radiator and fuel pump, all of were to be included in the purchase agreement.. I again went to ******* in Dec,2023, met with ************* and was told he was having a crate made to ship the top by the end of December. This has not yet happened, and he will not respond. In addition to the $48000 body I also have purchased a $20000 chassis for the body. Until I at least receive the top, This body can NOT be completed, which effectively makes all these items--- Worthless--. I understand that I am not the only person that has had this problem with *************. I would appreciate any assistance that could be provided, sincerely, ***********************.
