    I purchased a replacement laser tube from Trotec. I had problems right from the start, one of their technicians installed the tube but could not get it aligned. I had called their service department many times and not even a week after it was installed they emailed me instructions on beam alignment, which I shouldn't have needed. Now they are saying the laser was refurbished not new as I was told when I purchased it and they are recommending that I purchase another expensive tube because they can not get it aligned but the power isn't even testing at 5 ***** less then when I bought it. They are claiming it is out of warranty, which it is, but I had called their service department many times regarding the problem before the warranty expired. I have spent countless hours on the phone with their service **** trying to get it aligned. None of the service techs suggested that it may have been a defective tube until after it was out of warranty. I have been dealing with their service/tech depart for over 9 years, problems are never resolved, their communication is awful, and my machine was there for over 6 months because I could not get straight answers or responses. With so many other options out there for laser engravers/cutters I would definitely look elsewhere. Machines break down, that is just part of it but when the service department is hard to get ahold of or can't help it effects your businesses bottom line. A company willing to make a problem right is one worth putting your money into and Trotec is not it.
