    On 2/7/2024 my vehicle was towed by ******* as I was on the way to retrieve it. Officer's wrote a ticket at approximately 8:13 a.m. I arrived at 8:25 the vehicle was strangely gone. On 2/8/24 I arrived at ******* towing at approximately 9:05 a.m. when they opened. I have evidence showing that I was inside the shop at 9:05 a.m. I was charged $60, for 2 day storage. The vehicle was there overnight, less than 1 day. Was told if I did not pay the 2 day, I would not receive my vehicle. Excessive bogus charges. The vehicle was not impeding traffic. I was not given the opportunity to pick up the vehicle; gone within 10 minutes. A financial win for the towing company.

    The vehicle in question was towed at the request of the Oakland *********************** after it was taken from the driver, *****************************. They cannot leave a vehicle unattended so it is towed until the owner can retrieve it. As for the 2 days of storage, the daily charges are added per calendar date, not per hour. The vehicle came in on the 7th and left on the 8th, 2 calendar days in the storage lot. You could have retrieved the vehicle same day and avoided the 2nd day of storage as we were open till 5pm.

    I leave vehicles unattended in parking lots daily. Unable to take them into an establishment with me. As soon as my son was removed from the vehicle I headed that way to retrieve the vehicle, it was gone so that someone could make a financial gain. I arrived on the 8th the next day, why was I charged for 2 days. Again, kickback and bogus charges.
