These people failed, owner got embarrassed that the customer was right about a particular engine not having an upper oil pan, instead of trying to save time by listening to my request to look at the engine on the ground another time, the dude instead goes to Google keywords to find an upper oil pan for that engine, when thats not what i am trying to buy nor does it have one according to the service manual. So that's just ridiculous ??, show me the engine I came to purchase or schedule a better time with me, it should have been that simple. But instead you had to completely ignore my request 3 times and walk away after I said for the 3rd time that the ebay listing you are showing me is not for the correct engine nor relevant to what we came to possibly purchase if everything checks out?????. There is no guarantee buy on a engine that mentions damaged oil pan when there are several undamaged ones around that need minimal inspection beforehand. Learn how to handle customer confrontation, instead of trying to be the person on top when you could be wrong in that discussion. THE DOOR SLAM WAS WELL DESERVED FOR THE DISRESPECT YOU HAVE FOR CUSTOMERS! ???? Oh also, engine replacment was successful without your input or busted engine, hopefully you can have better luck making a sale in the future to someone who knows what they are talking about ??

First off this guy came at closing time. He wasn't even ready to purchase, just wanted to look. I told him I didn't know if my guys would have time to show it to him as they were getting ready to close up for the day. One of my guys did take him out to look. It was on a top rack with other engines in front of it and would require equipment to get it down, that there wasn't time for. My other guy (who has been a very knowledgeable mechanic for 35 years) decided to show him pictures online to explain what needed to be replaced. Instead of listening he persisted to argue. Not only is the owner a master mechanic he has also ran a salvage yard and inventoried cars for 25 of those years. This customer again argued that the owner was wrong and as he stated in his review "nor does it have one according to the service manual", so he doesn't even have knowledge of what he is arguing about. He continued to swear and be rude, even the person he was with said so. He walked out and slammed the door like a toddler throwing a tantrum. At that point any conversation or transaction with him was over. Before he even left the parking lot he called and asked to speak to the guy he was just talking to. I told him after the way he just acted we would not be doing any business with him. He repeatedly called until I left the phone off the hook. Then he started messaging for over 5 hours! The next morning he started again, instead of letting it go. The parts we inventory have a vin attached to them to verify they are correct. Our engine was in fact a **** and if it was not the same as his then he did not have the engine for the year he was asking for. This went on for 19 hours until he was blocked. Acting like an upset teenager that didn't get his way. He also made sure to tell me he was at work making $26 an hour while on fb wasting more of my time. That shows his level of maturity in itself. I explained to him there were several other places to purchase this engine, he could go there. His $300 was not going to make a difference to us, just let it go and move on. We have plenty of repeated customers as well as their friends and family, without rude childish ones like him. When people are disrespectful, name calling, and obnoxious, there is no need to deal with them. We have much respect and appreciation for our customers that have respect for us. One of the benefits of owning your own business is you get to choose how you let people treat you. The way he acted was in no way acceptable and is not something we choose to tolerate. He put this review on ****** in the beginning of June. I responded with my reply above and he removed his review. Now he feels the need to put his review on yelp and the BBB. Over four months later and he still can't let it go
