      Product not provided timely and no commitment to a future delivery date.The company accepted an order in May 2024 for a *** Sectional sofa with power components and upgraded leather. A down payment of approximately $4K was provided to place the order. The delivery estimate provided at the time the order was placed was 8-16 weeks. At the end of September 2024, the retailer selling the product advised the 16 week delivery deadline would be missed due to a parts shipment delay. The manufacturer advised the shipment was expected at the end of October or beginning of November. On October 22, 2024, the retailer stated that ******** informed him of two different estimated "production dates" (either 11-15-2024 or 12-15-2024) and expected it would take an additional 3-4 weeks to produce the sofa. The retailer stated the sofa may not be available until December 2024 or January 2025. I also contacted the ************************* directly on **********. The company would not provide me with an expected delivery date. I was referred back to the retailer. I explained that two different dates were given to the retailer and **************** still could not help me. The sofa costs approx $8000. I have provided $4000 and received nothing but delays. I believe this is a deceptive business practice and should be refunded my money along with damages or provided a firm commitment for a delivery date that the company will stand behind.
