    I signed a contract on 10/27/22 with Michigan Construction & Renovation LLC to complete a roof ***air on my house, new siding on my house and garage, and put in stairs and a deck on the outside of my garage which leads to an apartment. They were paid $50,000 for this job, just in labor. The job was completed in February of 2023. In March of 2023, the contractor was contacted via text message about the many issues with the job. There were shingles falling off, the siding was dimpling and bowing, some pieces were missing because they weren't secured and had flown off. On April 17, 2023 I was told it may be a manufacture issue so we had a *** come out. On April 18, 2023 I was told via text by the contractor that it was an installation problem. New siding was ordered at the expense of the contractor, although she did not order enough to complete the whole job. The new siding was not re-installed until August of 2023. In October of 2023 the contractor was contacted regarding yet more issues with the new installation; siding falling off and trim not tacked on, etc. The contractor/sub-contractor agreed, via text, they were sorry and would make it right. It is now almost a year later, and our house still has siding falling off, and completely missing in a few areas. The contractor will no longer answer any of my text messages.
