    Predatory Business Practices, Be Aware!!! On 4/14/2025 my clients went to Value Sheds to look for a new shed and had wrote a check for $2,000 for a down payment to purchase a 12ft x 16ft shed. They had informed the business manager, *** ******, that the $2,000 will have to be held for a few months until they could figure out leveling and a location for the shed. The same day, the business had already sent the check to be cashed, which was against what was agreed upon. Later that day, Value Sheds had sent **** **** to my clients property to perform an "estimate". After hearing about the speed at which Value Sheds was trying to go forward with this sale, I immediately had my clients put a hold on the down payment check and to cancel this transaction. On 4/15/2025 both *** ****** and **** **** showed up at my clients house after my clients had voided the down payment and cancelled this transaction. *** and **** were trying to convince them to go over additional options such as leasing a shed or purchasing a smaller one. Clearly this business is desperate for sales and they are willing to make a physical appearance at your property to push their sales. On average, the sheds they are selling are at a 50% to 65% mark-up, which only includes the price of the shed and its delivery. Sadly, their business model is taking advantage of elders and people on a fixed income. Manipulation, steamrolling, and intimidation are business tactics I refuse to accept or negotiate with this type of predatory salesmanship. Watch out for your clients and family, do your research and find a reputable company that treats you with respect.
